Summer 2025 Code.org Workshops
Code.org AP CSA Just in Time Updates
Teaching Data Science-
Empower students to make decisions and solve problems with data. This workshop will introduce flexible options for teaching this highly engaging, cross-curricular content.
Mobile App Development with Java -
An advanced curriculum for students who have completed AP Computer Science A with Java, which can be implemented as an advanced pathway / capstone course or as an advanced club. Teachers can also take the workshop to enhance their own knowledge.
Summer 2025 Professional Learning offered by Cyber.org:
Cybersecurity 1 Bootcamp for Middle School and High School Teachers
This workshop is designed for middle and high schools seeking a less technical introduction to cybersecurity. Attendees will use the CYBER.ORG Range and gain insights from curriculum developers on best practices.
Cybersecurity Bootcamp for High School Teachers -
This workshop is designed for educators to build their skills using a cyber range, regardless of experience level. Attendees will use the CYBER.ORG Range and gain insights from curriculum developers on best practices.

Please make sure that the workshops you plan to attend are listed in your approved individualized professional development plan (IPDP).
The workshops offered by Code in the Schools address computational thinking and computer science content, strategies for teaching students with disabilities or differentiated instruction for students with diverse learning needs.
Many address culturally relevant teaching strategies and some address strategies for teaching multilingual learners.
