Host an Intern
Be the change you want to see in our community while helping a young person build professional skills and hands-on experience for a career in tech. We see to it that they're paid while you provide work experience & professional contacts that will pay off by building the tech talent workforce in the medium & long term.
CodeWorks+ is a 5-week, project-based internship program that matches highly motivated young adults (ages 18–22) with local employers seeking fresh talent and meaningful contributions. Interns come from advanced training programs with hands-on experience in software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, IT and networking, and game development — ready to bring real value to the workplace.
The Tech Talent Challenge
The tech sector faces a significant and growing talent shortage — and building a sustainable early-talent pipeline is one of the most effective ways to address it. U.S. employers posted over 300,000 tech job openings in a single month, yet more than 200,000 went unfilled. Gartner found the talent shortage is the #1 barrier to emerging technology adoption for 64% of companies.
Companies that simply compete on salary enter endless bidding wars. The smarter path is building a sustainable early-talent pipeline — and CodeWorks+ is where that starts.
