Code for the City High School Student Showcase

The Department of General Services and Code in the Schools have teamed up for the 2nd annual Code for the City Showcase to continue to build technology career pipelines for Baltimore City students.

In this partnership program, high school students build computer science foundation skills in Python (a computer coding language) through secondary education computer science courses at Code in the Schools, and use these skills to work with the Department of General Services on real challenges that can be solved with the critical thinking and computer science skills developed in their classes.

Join us in celebrating and showcasing the students and their Python projects from the past semester at our end of the year showcase! Students will present their projects to attendees and a group of expert panelists, and afterwards, attendees will get a chance to talk with the students about their work.
