CodeWorks, 5PM-6PM

CodeWorks is a five-week coding bootcamp where youth ages 15-21 get paid to learn to code! Additionally, youth receive basic job-skills training and will have the opportunity to earn a transferrable college credit.

CodeWorks operates in partnership with the University of Baltimore and the Baltimore City’s YouthWorks summer jobs program, managed by the Mayor's Office of Employment Development (MOED). In the past we’ve offered participants the opportunity to explore Game Development, Web Development, Javascript, and Digital Forensics. We hope to expand our offerings in the upcoming session.

CodeScholar, 6PM-7PM

CodeScholar CodeScholar is a five-week coding bootcamp where 14 year-olds get paid to learn to code! This is the first year that we are offering CodeScholar. This program is specifically designed to be a bridge program for rising ninth graders to help prepare you for high school, and give you practical on-the-job experience.

This program also operates in partnership with the Baltimore City's YouthWorks summer jobs program, managed by MOED.

Registration for the info sessions closes Tuesday, March 12 at 5PM.

YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR BALTIMORE CITY’S YOUTHWORKS SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN CODEWORKS OR CODESCHOLAR.
