Game Jam 7.0

Stop playing video games and start making them! Game Jam is back for its 7th season!

In this free one day event, aspiring video game developers in middle and high school will come together from around the city in teams to create an original video game in less than 12 hours.

Participants will use Unity Game Engine tools package to design and code video games based on a theme announced the morning of the event. Teams have all day to work on their games and will be judged by a panel of tech professionals.

All participants will receive a special event t-shirt and are eligible to win awesome prizes! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided.

Unity Workshops

Code in the Schools will offer Unity Workshops for all participants, volunteers, coaches and anyone else to better familiarize with the use of Unity Game Engine tools prior to Game Jam 7.0.

These workshops will be held at our office at 10 E North Ave on:

Saturday, November 2nd from 12–2pm

Sunday, November 3rd from 12–2pm

Tuesday, November 5th from 6–8pm

* Enter at the Centre Theater, North Ave side. When you arrive, the lobby door closest to the handicap entrance button will be open. Please use the call box next to the elevator to call up to Code in the Schools (10+call). We will buzz you up from there. If you are having any issues, please call the office 410-982-0706.

For Parking: There is free and metered street parking on the surrounding streets.

Participant Registration

Participants can choose their own teams! Fear not, individual players will be placed into teams. Come and meet new people, make new friends!

Technical Volunteer Sign-up

If you are interested in serving as a technical volunteer to coach a team of up to five youth during the event.
