Code Steps Summer Camp
Code Steps Summer Camp is a 5-week coding bootcamp in partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools. Code Steps is open to rising 7th through 9th grade Baltimore City Public School Students.
When: July 8, 2019 - August 9, 2019; Monday through Friday; 9am-3pm
Where: Holabird Elementary/Middle School, and Cherry Hill Elementary/Middle School

This program is only open to Baltimore City Public School Students in Title 1 schools who are currently in 6th-8th grade. No prior coding experience is necessary to participate!
Every day Code Steps Summer Camp participants will rotate through computer science topics so that their summer is packed with opportunities to get exposed to all that computer science has to offer. Stations will include Coding, Cybersecurity, Digital Citizenship, Robotics, 3D Modeling, Game Design, App Design, Web Design, and so much more! The daily structure will be:
9:00 - 9:30 Breakfast
9:30 - 10:30 Station 1
10:30 - 11:30 Station 2
11:30 - 12:00 Outdoor Play
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 Station 3
2:00 - 3:00 Station 4
Volunteers will be asked to come Monday - Friday July 8th - August 9th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
All volunteers will get a certification of completion for 50 hours of volunteer work at the duration of Code Steps Summer Camp.
**Volunteers must be 16 years or older to be considered!
